Beautiful large devotional figure with soft pastel colours, typical for the Vieux Andenne workshops. According to the previous owner it originally came from a monastery in Ronse, West Flanders. There are some old restorations to the Child Jesus: small loss to one finger on the right hand left wrist has been glued by a previous owner and some glue is visible on the Virgin’s robe small chip/loss to part of the crown No other major cracks or breaks noticed – please check all photos carefully as they form part of the description.
