Just a bit of information: While unsuccessful to find a name for this pattern after a few days of extensive research, I did find information about the red cherry blossom mark on the backs. This particular red mark was used by Noritake for export purposes to comply with a law called "McKinley Tariff Act of 1890". There was also a green mark using the same cherry blossom. Both red and green variations of the "Cherry Blossom" mark dates to the same general period, primarily circa 1924-1935, reflecting the time when Noritake used this specific mark for export pieces, often those subcontracted to other Japanese manufacturers. The difference in the colors were simply used to distinguish the intended export destination of the porcelain with red used for china being exported to North America. ⇒⇒Please Read⇐⇐ Most items I offer are vintage or antique which means they may have some dings, scratches or stains acquired during its time.
