The beadwork is executed in vibrant glass seed beads in a bold palette of light blue, white, orange, green, and dark blue, arranged in striking stepped and triangular motifs. Exceptional Pair of Fully Beaded Northern Plains Moccasins Circa 1890-1910, this outstanding pair of moccasins measures approximately 10.5 inches in length and features parfleche soles with finely tanned hide uppers. The beadwork is executed in vibrant glass seed beads in a bold palette of light blue, white, orange, green, and dark blue, arranged in striking stepped and triangular motifs. Long beaded tongue extensions terminate in red wool tufts, adding both movement and color contrast. The green cloth cuff trim remains largely intact, complementing the vivid design. The beadwork style, color choices, and construction strongly suggest an attribution to the Northern Plains—likely Sioux (Lakota or Dakota). The condition is remarkable, with excellent surface and minimal bead loss, making this an outstanding example of turn-of-the-century Plains artistry. Category: Antiques › Other Antiques.
