This is a gorgeous antique fine China dinner set by Theodore Haviland (New York) Limoges, in near perfect condition featuring a beautiful Rosalinde pattern in floral design and gold leaf. This is a gorgeous antique fine China dinner set by Theodore Haviland (New York) Limoges, in near perfect condition featuring a beautiful Rosalinde pattern in floral design and gold leaf. it has been in a single family since its original purchase and has been meticulously cared for. Most of these pieces were made in France in the late 1930s with two American produced add ins per piece type when French imports stopped after WWII from the 40s-50s (blue makers mark vs earlier red stamp, this Art Nouveau style set includes 12 place settings with one serving plate that is an older Haviland pattern (Schleiger 678A 12.5" platter late 1800s to early 1900s with green and red makers mark). Place sets include 12 large dinner plates (10.5"), 12 salad plates (7.5"), 12 bread and butter plates (6.5"), 12 coupe soup bowls (7.5 "), 12 flat cup saucer (5.75"), 11 flat cups (this is the only missing piece in the set, though easy to procure a replacement on eBay or Replacements LTD!!!). These porcelain pieces have a very fine glossy luminescent white finish, are stackable, and wonderfully decorated in an exquisite floral pattern and gold leaf, perfect for entertaining in all occasions. With original production technique and backstamp, this collectible set exudes elegance and vintage charm that is sure to claim the spotlight of your dinning and entertaining of guests.
