Just out of a local smoke free house is this Chinese antique or vintage silver and white jade pin. The jade was carved into the form of a moth or butterfly and is mounted in an enamel decorated silver surround. The pin or brooch measures about 1 1/4 inches high and about 2 1/4 inches wide.The surround is marked Silver and was tested to confirm. It is in very good  condition for its age. The jade has no cracks, only a very very small nick and a few small black marks. The enamel is in very good condition and the silver has acquired a soft grey patina.
