They began producing their own porcelain in 1912. The decoration on the pieces is elegantly understated. the china is a light bone color. This Hand Painted  5 place setting set of dishes with 3 serving dishes, sugar bowl, creamer and 3 mini berry bowls is a full seting for a beautifully formal dinner. The manufacturer, Porzellanfabrik Krautheim & Adelberg, was a highly esteemed porcelain factory based in Selb, Bavaria, Germany. History: The business was founded by Christoph Krautheim in 1884 as a porcelain decorating shop, with his brother-in-law Richard Adelberg joining in 1889. They began producing their own porcelain in 1912. This set was made in the 1930s to 1940 time period.  There was no formal name for this pattern of florals although the sugar and creamer are labled with the number 6185. The decoration on the pieces is elegantly understated. the china is a light bone color. Please be aware that due to moniter configurations the color may not perfectly match the image on your screen. Please look closly at the photos. there are 2 pieces with chips 1 place setting bowl and 1 berry bowl i have shown the chips very clearly in the photos.
