Made of porcelain and handcrafted in Japan, these round plates have a multicolor glazed finish and a glossy look. 10" plate has a chip on the eye of the pheasant. (If I were to use the plate for personal display, I might get out my Sharpie!). The Japanese Porcelain Famille Jaune Plates from the Meiji era are a set of three antique plates featuring a beautiful pheasant and bird pattern. Made of porcelain and handcrafted in Japan, these round plates have a multicolor glazed finish and a glossy look. The plates are of different diameters (10", 8.5", 7"), and date back to the early 19th century. They are a unique piece of decorative cookware that adds a touch of elegance to any dining table, requiring special care as they are recommended to be hand washed only. These vintage plates are a perfect addition to any collection of pottery and glass. EXCELLENT OVERALL CONDITION with wear commensurate with age.
