Produced by stanley level & rule co in New Britain Connecticut. W Pat Dates of 1891 & 1896 this was a late 1800s or turn of the century produced model. While the brass has duled to a dull brown. Hudson valley estate collection fresh. Very nice 26 inch Cherry Or Rosewood w Solid Brass Furniture Stanley Level. Produced by stanley level & rule co in New Britain Connecticut. W Pat Dates of 1891 & 1896 this was a late 1800s or turn of the century produced model. The 26 inch variant appears to be somewhat desirable.. of some interest there is an 04 stamped into the wood unsure if this denotes Model 04, or was done by the company who owed it but the mark is period correct to period produced. The piece has excellent unpolished patina and the finish has taken on an attractive dark cherry color. While the brass has duled to a dull brown... The only thing of note is it does appear the plate with the makers mark was long ago removed the screws replaced i would say this was done long ago. Brass cap over top of level bubble is missing. Both bubbles are present and functional! A very nice piece see the other levels from the same collection! Condition: Used.
