Set of four vintage hand-blown Mexican art glass goblets purchased directly from a glass factory in Mexico City during the 1990s. Each goblet features a thick clear glass body with a hand-formed colored glass rim. Two glasses have green rims and two have red rims. The color is part of the glass itself and was incorporated during the glassblowing process, not painted or applied afterward. As expected with authentic hand-blown Mexican glass, each piece shows unique artisan characteristics including small air bubbles (seed bubbles), pontil marks on the base, and slight variations in shape, thickness, and color distribution. These features are part of the manufacturing process and add to the handmade character of the set.
