View Vintage Pair of Japanese Blue & White Porcelain Foo Dogs 7 1/4" Tall "Repair" with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The foo dogs are 7 1/4" tall x 6" long x 5 1/2" wide. They have an amazing look and would make good bookends too. It is not easy to see because the sword does have accent lines in two places at the tip and under the lip. Beautiful Larger Sized Vintage Pair of Japanese Porcelain Foo Dogs. They are Blue & White with 2 fringed yellow and red tassels each. The foo dogs are 7 1/4" tall x 6" long x 5 1/2" wide. They have an amazing look and would make good bookends too. Of course, I asked about any chips or cracks and the gal said no; but there was a break of one of the swords, it is underneath the upper lip of the mouth and can be seen in the last two pictures . It is not easy to see because the sword does have accent lines in two places at the tip and under the lip. Whoever did the repair did a good job because the break is clean and the glue is clear. The foo dogs are great other than that repair. Both have a stamped mark on the bottom that is hard to see. I can see a number 37 (probably mold #) and a flower print (Maker's Mark?). They are heavier made quality pieces. They are just too nice too discard. Please message any questions and , Condition: Used.
