The floral pattern matches lid to base, keeping the pictures flowing over the whole. A label on the bottom is marked MADE IN INDIA. Probably made in around the 1970's. Very good condition. A few spots of wear near the bottom edge of the lid. vintage KASHMIRI TRINKET LACQUERED BOX The body of the box is wood painted medium blue while the exterior is a lacquer on papier mache treatment. This has a dark blue background that is decorated with small forms, blossoms, and vines in gold, some in raised gold. The floral pattern matches lid to base, keeping the pictures flowing over the whole. A label on the bottom is marked MADE IN INDIA.  The box measures 6-1/2" x 4" x 2" with the lid on. Probably made in around the 1970's. Very good condition. A few spots of wear near the bottom edge of the lid. On one end are a few black spots that look like tarnish.
