The  brushwork and palette knife texture can be seen throughout the painting, especially in the birch trees, foreground, and water. Signed "JB" in the lower right and attributed to Jennifer Barkley through family provenance, related estate works, and consistent signature handling. Jennifer Barkley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and exhibited work in connection with the 1962 Wabash Valley Exhibition at the Swope Art Museum. Jennifer really did a great job with the turquoise-blue, pink, orange, and white colors in this painting. I also feel the vintage frame complements the artwork so well that it almost seems like they were made for each other. Vintage condition consistent with age.
