The blade has a very slight smooth curve (not wavy) that should not affect tenoning operations. Antique R. Groves & Son 14” Tenon Saw Cast Steel Back 8 TPI .029" Thick Blade  Made in Sheffield, England circa 1844 (between 1770 and 1918) Great antique condition...very straight...carefully cleaned and waxed I put a 18" rule on both sides of the spine and it's nearly dead straight.  I put the same rule on the blade near the teeth and there is a .008" gap in the middle. Not perfect, but very straight. The blade has a very slight smooth curve (not wavy) that should not affect tenoning operations Note: Its difficult to measure the number of teeth per inch because the spacing varies somewhat. Upon closer examination and numerous measurements with a thread pitch gauge and a ruler, I believe the count is probably closer to 8 than 7. I have updated the listing with this information.
