Naturally, after Germany's defeat in World War 2, manufacturing, imports and exports took a while to rejuvenate. By the early 1950's Germany was exporting some gorgeous jewelry to the US but due to lack of machinery, they were using many hand made techniques to produce some gorgeous pieces that were trending in the fashion world as the world healed from wartime. This set feature intricate filagree edging that looks like a song that has intricate texturing around the bezel and on each petal to catch light and add sparkle.  The "Cat's Eye" Glass Cabochon: West Germany—specifically the region around Neugablonz—became the world capital for glassmaking in the 1950s. Their signature technique involved creating faux-mineral art glass cabochons. Your brown stone with tan and gold streaks is a vintage matrix glass or "tiger's eye" imitation glass cabochon , meticulously poured to mimic natural chatoyancy. Which gives this set a very unique and amazing look and is a cool historical significance too. I geek out over details like this frankly.  The earrings are clip on and stamped west Germany on the back. The brooch is unmarked but clearly they are a set. The pin back on the brooch features a long wire pin that is hinged by wrapping the wire around a post and the latch appears to be hand crafted which also matches this time in West Germany before machines were up and running to manufacture the more modern latches of this period elsewhere. West Germany was using some antique methods to create the more modern 1950's styles. The pin itself is a little bent over time - see pictures. This is due to metallurgy available post war as well as metal availability this is most likely a copper based pin which like gold can be softer and more pliable.
