Has all the marks of authenticity, hobnail & fan design with sunburst on the bottom. It's very heavy & thick and the cut crystal edges are very sharp. Picture # 7 shows the age marks on the bottom. This product is an antique American Brilliant heavy crystal hobstar water carafe with a notched neck, made in the United States during the late 1800's - early 1900s. The carafe features a clear crystal material and elegant glass production style, showcasing the American Brilliant Period design. This water carafe is a stunning example of their craftsmanship, with an intricate hobstar pattern and a unique notched neck design. Has all the marks of authenticity, hobnail & fan design with sunburst on the bottom. It's very heavy & thick and the cut crystal edges are very sharp. Picture # 7 shows the age marks on the bottom. There is a little cloudiness on the bottom and I ran my hand over it and checked it for chips and if there are any they will have to be seen with a magnifying glass. I couldn't find any with mine that would stand out as chips. Being sold as-is. Approx. 8" tall with an approx. 6" diameter at the widest pt. This was made somewhere between 1880-1920.
