This one is no exception--the vibrant,  almost hypnotic whorls of blue print, comfy, low-maintenance barkcloth fabric, and fabulous,  sweeping, alien-princess cut are in themselves an act of rebellion,  a beautiful way to give the finger to the darkness and violence of its age. I sometimes wish my mannequin had a few more features--this dress would look particularly surreal and splendid with exaggerated hippie eye make-up. (example pictured at end).
