The green Nippon mark on the back was used. beautiful landscape. The other three panels show landscapes of land and water. The bowl is covered with hand painted gold gilt detailing. Simply beautiful. This bowl is an excellent condition for its age. There is very little gold wear with no chips, cracks or breaks the colors are still very vibrant and the gold very shiny. Absolutely beautiful, hand painted Nippon, tab handled bowl painted in a variation of the Tree in the Meadow pattern. The green Nippon mark on the back was used from 1891 - 1921. The bowl has four panels with gold framed landscapes, the central showing a house on a river with trees and a swan in a beautiful landscape. The other three panels show landscapes of land and water.
