View Guangxu Imperial Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Teapot Dragon Handle 19th C Antq with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. 19th Century Antique Qing Dynasty Guangxu Imperial Chinese Porcelain, Famille Rose Teapot with porcelain Dragon Handle and a spider as the knob on the lid. Hand painted, the sides of teapot depict the Gilin pattern of a dragon and phoenix. 19th Century Antique Qing Dynasty Guangxu Imperial Chinese Porcelain, Famille Rose Teapot with porcelain Dragon Handle and a spider as the knob on the lid.  Hand painted, the sides of teapot depict the Gilin pattern of a dragon and phoenix.  lid is attached with a very fine chain that is feed through the lid and attached on the bottom inside - I believe it to be original.  Handle looks like two dragons' nose to nose.  Overall Condition is good; it does have a repair to the spot that had a piece break off, this was a clean break.  It has since been repaired but I am including a picture from prior to the repair so you can see the break. This piece has been glued back in place. Otherwise, there are No chips, No cracks and No other Repairs. Lip on lid is smooth with no chips and so is lip on inside of teapot.  For its age it is in very good condition with some light wear to the paint.  It measures 6.5" High x  6.5" Wide.  It Weighs 1.3 lbs This came out of an estate of a Colonel from the US Air Force that was stationed in Asia after serving in WWII, his wife collected antique chinese porcelain pieces.  Another piece from this estate is listed separately.  If interested in both I will combine shipping.   Category: Antiques › Asian Antiques › China › Teapots.
