Vintage mixed lot of two Leonard silver-plated footed goblets. Both goblets are made by Leonard, but they were manufactured in different countries and have different markings, proportions and stem details. They are not an original matching pair . Included in this lot 1. Leonard EPNS goblet – Made in India The underside is marked: Leonard E.P.N.S. Made in India EPNS stands for Electroplated Nickel Silver . This goblet is silver plated and is not solid sterling silver. It currently has a warmer gold or copper-colored appearance. This is believed to result from substantial silver-plate wear, tarnish, oxidation or exposure of the underlying base metal. It is not being represented as solid copper . 2. Leonard silver-plated goblet – Spain The underside is marked: Leonard Spain Silverplate This goblet has a brighter silver-colored finish and a slightly different bowl, stem and base design from the India-made goblet.
