Crafted in Taxco, Mexico, these earrings feature the official post-1980 registration hallmark "MEXICO TP-57" alongside the "925" stamp, guaranteeing their sterling silver purity and authentic artisan origin. Unlike many large vintage hoops, these are solid, heavy, and exceptionally well-made. Measures 1.5" in diameter, 3/8" deep and weighs 21.4 grams. Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful bright shine. Shows minor surface wear and light micro-scratches consistent with age, which do not detract from their striking look. One post is slightly bent out of shape (see last photo). Closer inspection shows the beautiful craftsmanship of the Taxco assay registration mark on the interior curve.
