The exterior is treated with a heavy, deeply tactile green and white "lava/bark" crawl glaze meant to mimic natural organic forms. In stark contrast, the interior features a beautifully smooth, multicolor, high-gloss glazed finish. It is stamped on the unglazed foot with the signature impressed Yamasan mark and shape number 135.
