Up for sale is a charming vintage mid-century blown glass Christmas ornament crafted in Poland during the 1950s–1960s. The ornament features a vibrant reflective minty emerald green finish decorated with a scenic, hand-painted winter landscape featuring a snow-dusted log cabin cottage with red windows and door, chunky silver mica glitter snowbanks, and whimsical white stylized pine trees encircling the reverse. ​Size & Scale: Measures approximately 3.75" tall (including the wire loop) by 3" in diameter (large scale). Please see the photo with the tape measure for precise scale. ​Condition Details: ​Overall Condition: Good vintage display condition with authentic, age-appropriate character and vibrant coloring. ​Glass & Silvering: Emerald green glass remains shiny and reflective. Shows faint internal silvering loss, light mercury oxidation, and surface scratches consistent with 60+ year-old mouth-blown glass. ​Paint & Mica: The hand-painted red and white details and chunky granulated mica glitter on the snowbanks and roof remain crisp, showing light cosmetic paint rub and natural vintage mica shedding. ​Neck & Cap: Includes its vintage scalloped metal cap stamped "POLAND" with wire hanging loop intact. Please Note: The top glass pike beneath the cap has a rough, uneven edge and chip typical of vintage blown ornaments (see close-up photo).
