Helping a senior family member downsize in preparation for a move.  This Fingertip/Hand Towel is from a set she had, but she had saved this towel in event another became damaged , then she would have a back-up.  She never did need this one. This was a popular motif "back in the day"--these were cotton or cotton blend hand towels you put in the guest bathroom.  They always had a cheerful, colorful motif--flowers and leaves that were appliqued and then there was embroidery to accompany or accentuate the appliqued portions.  This one has the yellow, pink, and blue flowers, and as is customary, there is a scalloped edge with overlock embroidery finish.  It measures 20.5 x 12.5 inches which was the customary size for these.  We always did enjoy these --they just seemed so cheerful and welcoming.
