There are multiple details exhibited to the inside molding well. ( see photo ). Nice antique SOLID WALNUT deep well frame in a rich and deep dark chocolate color. Very finely turned wood molding with very detailed elements! The frame’s depth is slightly over 2 inches deep and helps draw the eye inward towards the item to be framed - further enhancing the actual artwork placed inside the frame. There are multiple details exhibited to the inside molding well. ( see photo ) The edges of the frame are rounded with a nice turned beading. The profile ( side view ) of the frame also is nice with multiple turnings to the molding. Frame measures 12 inches x 10 inches, the opening visible “sight” is 7 1/2 inches x 5 1/2 inches and the rabbet is 8 inches x 6 inches. Items of this fragile nature are most carefully wrapped and packed, and double boxed, and fully insured. Thus, the listed postage.
