Perfect as a centerpiece on a dining table, console, or coffee table. It's substantial and visually bold. Approx. 10 inches across at the widest point and 3 inches high. It weighs ~4 pounds. The piece is unmarked (no label, etched signature, or acid stamp present). The weight, wall thickness, and layered color construction are consistent with quality mid-century sommerso work from Murano or Bohemian glasshouses. Excellent vintage condition. Glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness. As is typical of hand-blown glass, there are a few very small internal bubbles from the original blowing process. The base shows light surface wear and minor scuffing, mainly on the underside, along with a small area that appears to be a light bruise to the glass near the base — One area on the side has a mark that appears to be paint residue, which may be removable with solvent.
