Vintage Brass Temple Wind Bell - Embossed Deity - Hanging Wind Chime - India Beautiful vintage solid brass hanging wind bell / temple bell (ghanta). More of a wind chime than a hand bell — has a hanging loop on top, internal clapper/wire, and a large leaf-shaped wind sail / wind catcher at the bottom that makes it ring in the breeze. Embossed on front with raised deity in prayer pose (Anjali mudra) — style seen on Indian Puja bells. The same type as Garuda / Hanuman temple bells. Hang in garden, porch, patio, meditation space, yoga room, or altar. Embossing is worn but still very visible. Wind sail leaf has natural copper patina. The clapper is attached through a hole at the top of the bell with a heavy duty wire. Clapper wire is intact.
