The extraordinary shape is particularly attractive: the bulbous body merges into a high, plastically turned neck, which opens upwards in a cup-shaped manner and ends in an elegantly curved, wavy edge. The body is adorned with a classic multicolored floral decor. The focal point is a lush bouquet of rose, tulip and various smaller flowers. Other small flower arrangements are distributed around the vase, making it very decorative from the sides and back as well. Fine gold lines on the foot, at the transition to the neck and along the curved top underline the elegant design. A sculptured cord relief ring above the base and the spirally sculpted upper part also give the vase a very beautiful three-dimensional effect. On the underside is the original Rosenthal manufactory brand Selb-Germany. The floor mark used dates the vase to 1941. There is a small chip on the top scalloped edge documented in the detailed photos. Due to the curved shape and depending on the orientation of the vase, this area can be rotated almost completely out of sight during presentation and is hardly noticeable in the overall picture. No other damage is visible. The colorful floral decor is beautifully preserved. The gold decor shows light, age-related wear or some gold abrasion in places, especially on the top edge.
