It is highly possible! Jay King (the designer behind Desert Rose Trading) travels globally to source raw materials for his collections. While the amber frequently comes from regions like the Baltic or Ukraine, the turquoise used in many of his pieces is authentic Baja turquoise mined in Mexico. The raw stones are collected from these various international mines and then sent to the company's production facilities in China to be cut, polished, and set into the silver jewelry.  Condition Report Overall Status: Good vintage condition with a beautiful, natural aged patina on the sterling silver. Gemstone Condition: There are some slight, minor dings on the amber cabochon from being stored in a mix with other jewelry over the years. The turquoise inlay remains smooth, flush, and secure. Provenance & Care: This is an inherited heirloom piece. It is being sold exactly as found, and all cleaning and polishing is left entirely to the new owner to preserve its original vintage state.  Important Cleaning Note for the Buyer Stone Care: Both Baltic amber and turquoise are natural, porous stones.
