Miniature handcrafted pottery pitcher marked L. P. W. Italy. and holds 1/2 cup. Miniature handcrafted pottery pitcher marked L. P. W. Italy.  Most likely these initials stand for Lewis P. Weil, an American importer who operated in the 30's and 40's. This little pitcher measures 3.25" tall, about 3" wide, weighs 4.5 oz. and holds 1/2 cup. Interesting colors - mustard and olive on white with shades of blue, almost has a lustre look.  The bottom unglazed ring has rough edges and felt a couple production bumps, but no damage noted - no cracks, chips, scratches nor marks.  As found, with some dirt on the inside.  From smoke-free storage.  Be sure to check my other postings.
