The paint is vibrant and glossy, and it displays very well, but has flaws. This elephant has a very small chip on the edge of the ear - shown in photos. There is a fleabite under one front foot - see photos. Vtg CORTENDORF Huge 13" ELEPHANT Porcelain Figurine  #2011  Western Germany This is a very large and very hard to find porcelain figurine This statue is stamped on the bottom, as well as having a model / mold number and what is probably a run or batch number This particular Cortendorf hallmark / maker's mark was used from 1952 until 1960, which tells the age of the figurine Height is approximately  22 cm Length is approximately 35 cm Width is approximately 16 cm This figure would be rated as second quality. The paint is vibrant and glossy, and it displays very well, but has flaws. This elephant has a very small chip on the edge of the ear - shown in photos. One of the tusks has a chip in the enamel - see photos. There is a fleabite under one front foot - see photos.
