Vintage Butterfly Bracelet 12 Individual Butterflies Hand-painted Enamel Turquoise-Blue on Hinged Sterling Silver 800  Beautiful vintage bracelet includes has twelve (12) individual butterflies hand-painted enamel in turquoise-blue circling the wrist on base hinged silver. Marked 800.  We think this bracelet features either cloisonne or plique a jour enamel over cannetille filigree. It has a friction clasp with a safety chain. When you hold up to the light, you can see some light passing through the turquoise painted sections. Plique a jour enamel over cannetille filigree is an enameling  technique  in which the  colored   enamels  are  fused  into the spaces of a  wire   framework  on a  temporary   backing ; the backing is then removed, producing a  translucent  effect This butterfly bracelet measures about 8 inches in total, about 7 inches inner circumference, about 0.5" wide and weighs about 13.9 grams.    CONDITION This piece is in lovely condition with all parts present and functioning as designed.
