This is an absolutely beautiful hand painted salad plate with gorgeous purple & blue sweet peas against a blue pink & yellow watercolor background signed by the painter L. Hart. The plate is unmarked by the maker or country of origin so it is likely pre-1890 before the McKinley tax tariff requiring all imports to the US be marked with the country of origin unless it was made in the USA.
