The Cambridge style is the shell cordovan version of Allen Edmond's McAllister shoes.  These have cork insoles to mould to your foot and J Rendenbach leather soles, the finest available. Shell cordovan is the finest leather and is so strong and durable that it used to be used for strops on which barbers razor blades were refined by removing tiny metal fragments.  It produces a beautiful polished surface for shoes that spectacularly reflects light. This pair is in a fine used condition. I have tried to capture these shoes from all angles. Because they are used, the soles show some wear and the shell cordovan has a few minor marks or indentations here and there, but nothing major as far as I can tell.
