This has been tucked away unworn in storage at least 10 years and is probably much older. Shows little to zero signs of any wear or use. This set is strung on black fabric cord (maybe silk or nylon?) and is not knotted between. Gold tone metal spacer beads have not been tested for metal content. The filigree clasps are gold-plated metal. Looking at the beads under magnification it is observable that they are opaque carved black onyx gemstone and not any type of glass.  Wear:  Slight signs of wear are considered typical for authentic vintage pieces, such as light surface scratches or patina.  This type of normal wear attests to an item's age and adds to its vintage charm and character.
