The artwork is a finished, handmade piece, from Paragon Needlecraft, c. 1970's. This is a vintage Hummel needlepoint embroidery piece depicting a boy with goats. The image is based on the M.I. Hummel figurine "Little Goat Herder" or "Ziegenbub". Needlepoint and crewel embroidery kits with Hummel designs were popular in the 1970s. This beautiful completed kit would be a great addition to your Hummel or wall hanging collection. The piece is framed in an oval, faux wooden-style frame. There is a hook on the back to hang it. Please note the back is just taped it is not finished off with a nice piece of cardboard on the back but this could easily be done by the buyer If they so desire to have such.
