View Antique Victorian & 1920s Valentine Die-Cut Card Lot – 30+ pcs Stand-Up with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. • Several embossed German / early 1900s stand-up Valentines with fold-out bases – cupid with bow, cupid in big red heart with flowers, carriage couple under red parasol, “Loving Wishes” bed scenes, etc. Estate lot of early antique and vintage Valentine cards, most dating from the early 1900s to about the 1930s. These came out of an old box and have been together for many years. Great mix of fancy chromolithographed cards, stand-ups, and some charming handmade school Valentines. Highlights include (see all photos): • Several embossed German / early 1900s stand-up Valentines with fold-out bases – cupid with bow, cupid in big red heart with flowers, carriage couple under red parasol, “Loving Wishes” bed scenes, etc. • Gold and paper-lace hearts with roses, doors, spiderweb design, cardinals and other birds, and children in scenic settings. • Scenic die-cuts: boy delivering a Valentine to a green door, children at a garden gate and rose trellis, children with swans, colonial couple, kids skating, etc. • Cute 1920s–30s style pieces including telephone girl (“Hello central…” verse), little boy in red tux with bouquet, kissing children, and more. • A few handmade / school Valentines: construction-paper hearts with string, green paper “doily” heart with yarn, hand-drawn umbrella scene, and a little pink cottage drawing. • Small airplane Valentine die-cut with hearts on the wings and other small scraps and cut-outs. • Some duplicates (nice for display or crafting). I count approximately 30+ pieces in total, including full cards, stand-ups, and smaller die-cut scraps. Please look closely at all photos to see exactly what is included and to judge for yourself. Condition • Overall condition is good for age but mixed. Expect typical wear from 100+ year-old paper: • light creases, corner/edge wear, small tears, and handling marks • some writing/inscriptions on backs • a few pieces have small losses, tape marks, or separated / missing parts • The stand-up cards still display nicely; some mechanical parts may be delicate. • Cards are sold together as found, as-is, from old storage; I have not tried to clean or restore them. Please check the pictures and ask questions…I can check specifics cards if you need me too. Some of these unfold, like a 2 level card, most have pencil writing on back. Most of my items I’ve acquired around historic Richmond, Virginia and surroundings counties.
