The Merit Occupied Japan Hand Painted Pastel Blue Floral Teacup & Saucer Set is a vintage two-piece set made of bone china, featuring a round shape with scalloped rims and a beautiful floral pattern. This decorative tea cup and saucer set is perfect for all occasions and showcases a multicolor design with a painted backstamp. Produced in Japan during the 1940s using pottery techniques, this original set exudes a floral theme and is a charming addition to any tea lover's collection.  The cup measures approx. 2" tall, 3 7/8" across, and 4 4/5" across at the handle.  The saucer measures approx. 5 1/2" across. Both pieces are stamped with the Merit maker's mark, as well as hand painted and occupied Japan on the bottom of them.   Cup & saucer holder NOT included, for photo purposes only.
