The entire top surface looks excellent with no scratches or chips. The sides and front are also in the same shape, save for a couple tiny chips measuring 0.03" and 0.1" next to some other marks that are part of the make up of the piece (thus, not damage). These are located on the right corner edge. The back is also fine. The only marks found are a couple of blemishes that were created during the manufacturing process. The underside is excellent overall with no damage, and it is (now) very clean. The writing refers to the inner workings of the toilet tank and not the lid.
