NOTE THAT THIS PLANE HAD A SMALL CHIP ON THE REAR LEFT SIDE THAT WAS CAREFULLY DRESSED AND CLEANED UP, THIS SLIGHT MODIFICATION IS SHOWN IN SEVERAL OF THE PHOTOS. You're buying the Stanley excelsior style block plane shown in the photos. This block plane judging by the dimensions should be a STANLEY #15,  the length is approximately 7 in. ****NOTE THAT THIS PLANE HAD A SMALL CHIP ON THE REAR LEFT SIDE THAT WAS CAREFULLY DRESSED AND CLEANED UP, THIS SLIGHT MODIFICATION IS SHOWN IN SEVERAL OF THE PHOTOS.          Other than the dressed chip there is some slight roughness on the mouth and there is japaning missing throughout as can be seen in the photos.  The plane exhibits 4 patent dates, and an arch logo blade.      The plane has been carefully cleaned the blade is sharp.
