View 19th Century French XVI Style Ormolu Bronze Marble Mantel Clock & Candelabra Set with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Not inspected for working condition. Pendulum present and key missing. Gilt surfaces are bright and show very little oxidation nor rubbing wear. Scuffs, scratches and nicks to the marble. Wear to the markings on the porcelain face. Our client's garniture includes an exceptionally well cast and gilt bronze and white marble mantel clock depicting Cupid offering a dove to Venus, and matched pair of candelabra.  French made and retailed at Davis Collamore & Co. of Fifth Avenue in New York, (an exclusive shop and competitor to Tiffany), and an exceptional copy of the original 18th century model attributed to Francois Vion, circa 1775, known as Le Retour de l’Amour (The Return of Love) and La Pleureuse d’Oiseau (The Mourner Bird). Not inspected for working condition. Pendulum present and key missing.  Gilt surfaces are bright and show very little oxidation nor rubbing wear.  Scuffs, scratches and nicks to the marble.  Wear to the markings on the porcelain face.
