This is a pair of beautiful deep cobalt flow blue antique W.H. Grindley "Rose" pattern luncheon plates made in England circa late 1800s to early 1900s. One plate displays a more dramatic flow blue effect, giving the pair wonderful visual character. This is a pair of beautiful deep cobalt flow blue antique W.H. Grindley "Rose" pattern luncheon plates made in England circa late 1800s to early 1900s. Each plate measures approximately 8" in diameter and feature delicate cobalt blue floral decorations with embossed rims and traces of original gilt trim.  One plate displays a more dramatic flow blue effect, giving the pair wonderful visual character. Both plates are marked on the back with W.H. Grindley backstamp and pattern number 213117. Lovely antique condition with age-appropriate crazing, light utensil wear, and minor gilt loss.  No chips or cracks noted.  Clean, attractive display pieces for any flow blue, Victorian, or antique china collections.
