Charming chicken on a nest teapot probably from the 1950s or '60s. The hen is the teapot lid, and the teapot itself has a basket weave design. Incised mark on bottom states Japan. There is no sticker, but I am confident we can attribute this to Rossini. Rossini also made related items with this design, however, I do not at present have any of the other items available. About 6.5" tall with the lid on. Condition: some minor wear, but I see no cracks chips, or other issues. I would not hesitate to give this as a gift. A fun item for your country kitchen.
