In addition, there is no clasp or closure present. img{max-width:100%} Vintage Necklace Wild Roses & Leaves Sterling Silver Up for auction is a vintage Necklace.  The sterling silver panel necklace features 8 sculpted domed wild rose motifs, with each having five cupped petals and a stylized six-stamen cluster (one central bead surrounded by five slightly larger beads).  Each flower is flanked by two sharply veined teardrop shaped leaves.  The panels are joined by smooth barrel connectors and the reverse shows alternating straight and U-shaped soldered bars.  The piece is typical of mid-century die-struck American silver-work, mostly likely produced by Danecraft or a related Providence, Rhode Island manufacturer, from the 1940's - 1960's.  The 14 inch chocker style necklace has had two lengths of silver tone metal chain added at some point to each end (and this measurement includes these added chains).  In addition, there is no clasp or closure present.  The necklace weighs 1.1 ounces or approximately 31 grams. The necklace is in great vintage condition, with minimal soiling and wear, and no damage that I can detect.  However, as previously mentioned, the necklace does have two lengths of chain that are not original, and will need to have a clasp or closure added.
