This is very common in Peridot found in Hawaii. This also explains the deep rich green color of the stones as they are rich in iron. It was listed as an Emerald ring and from the color of the stones looked right. Didn't take long to realize these weren't Emeralds. After checking the Refractive Index of the stones (1.65) and doing some research, I discovered they were a fairly rare Emerald Hue Peridot. Also noticed some small gas bubbles in one of the stones.  This is very common in Peridot found in Hawaii. This also explains the deep rich green color of the stones as they are rich in iron. Very little of the material from Hawaii is suitable for jewelry. Mostly sand and small pebbles that are polished and sold to the tourists. So, to find 3 faceted 4mm stones is well, amazing. ================================================   Check photos carefully and judge for yourself.
