With the gorgeous cobalt blue, double AB crystal and opalescent glass, this necklace sparkles and glows. It is stunning!!! This necklace is 18 3/4” long and weighs 84.1 grams. It features a 2” long by 1 1/8” deep, artisan crafted, sterling silver wire wrapped cobalt art glass pendant. This pendant is much prettier in reality. The cobalt blue art glass is completely wrapped in heavy gauge sterling silver hammered wire with a plethora of curlicues and sliding beads. It hangs on a sterling silver, cobalt blue, Murano/Venetian and opalescent art glass bead necklace that is strung on strong jeweler’s flex wire and that is finished with sterling silver end caps and a sterling hook and eye clasp. The cobalt beads are 10 mm in size and come from an antique 1920’s era flapper style necklace. They alternate with tiny, brilliant double AB Swarovski crystal black bi-cone beads, vintage faceted round opalescent beads, double AB Swarovski opalescent crystal faceted floral slices, two large 14 mm antique Murano art glass cobalt blue and gold aventurine beads that are flanked with sterling silver daisy beads. This necklace is in new condition, despite the antique and vintage beads. The antique cobalt, Murano and opalescent beads are in remarkable condition with no damage that I could find. Perhaps they were never worn. There may be very subtle surface wear on some of the beads, but very little, if so. All of the silver in this necklace, including the pendant, clasp and beads, has been professionally tested as sterling silver.
