A truly remarkable piece. An exceptional specimen from the early era of the Mexican Silver Renaissance (circa 1920s–1930s). This striking antique brooch features a beautifully hand-carved green jadeite mask showcasing a stylized Mesoamerican warrior or deity face. The carved visage is securely set within an ornate, artisan-crafted sterling frame decorated with intricate wire scrollwork arches and flanked by rows of bold, polished silver spheres.  Era & Authenticity Marks: The reverse side is hand-stamped with the desirable, early "Mexico Silver" mark. This specific signature dates the piece precisely to the pre-1948 era, before the implementation of the standard Eagle assay numbering system. The brooch secures with its original, authentic C-clasp mechanism, which remains in excellent, functional condition. In excellent condition - there is a small piece wedged in the front of the silver - will come out. Could benefit from a proper cleaning. Does have a very light amount of coloring on the back.
