This is the most collected colorway in the Della Robbia line. Pattern & Design The Della Robbia pattern takes its name from the 15th century Italian sculptor Luca Della Robbia, whose enameled terra cotta garlands of fruit and flowers inspired the design. Each goblet features a deeply embossed garland of grapes, pears, apples, and leaves encircling the bowl, with the fruit motif continuing onto the pressed foot. The interior bowl center features a pressed rosette. The hand-applied amber/gold lustre stain highlights the raised fruit details, creating a warm contrast against the clear crystal upper bowl and stem.
