View Vintage 1970s Woven Sewing Basket Box Made in Japan Velvet Floral Lid READ SHIP with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. This round woven basket features natural and red woven coiling with wooden spoke accents and a looped handle on the lid. Includes its original plastic organizer insert. The padded lid is covered in a plush velvet fabric with a bold oversized floral print in red, brown, gold, and olive green — pure groovy 70s charm. A sweet and funky vintage sewing basket straight out of the 1970s! This round woven basket features natural and red woven coiling with wooden spoke accents and a looped handle on the lid. Includes its original plastic organizer insert. The padded lid is covered in a plush velvet fabric with a bold oversized floral print in red, brown, gold, and olive green — pure groovy 70s charm. The interior is lined in golden yellow satin with gold rickrack trim. Marked Made in Japan. Measurements: approximately 8.5 inches and approximately 10 inches in diameter. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The exterior wicker and velvet lid are clean and intact. The interior satin lining shows scattered age spots and some separation at the seam — consistent with age and normal for a piece like this. There is one spot where the liner was poked through.
