A small decorative inlay also accents the front of the box. Beautiful vintage Soviet-era wooden jewelry/trinket box, produced in Kirov, USSR by the Ideal (Идеал) Factory of Artistic Products. The lid features an intricate geometric straw-inlay / straw-marquetry design in warm golden and dark brown tones. A small decorative inlay also accents the front of the box. The interior is natural unfinished wood with two metal hinges and an interior wooden divider/rail. Approximate Measurements: 7” long × 5” wide × 2½” high Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear, small scratches, finish wear and minor imperfections. Interior is clean overall with some natural discoloration from age. Hinges are intact and functional. Original factory label shows considerable age, staining and wear but remains attached and readable. Please review all photographs carefully as they are part of the condition description.
