Up for sale is a charming lot of four (4) authentic vintage die-cut Valentine's Day greeting cards dating from the late 1920s to the 1940s. This instant collection features vibrant color lithography, playful mid-century humor, and working mechanical/movable parts. What is Included in this Lot: Premium German Mechanical Girl & Dog Stand-Up (c. 1930): Features a swiveling head mechanism, original fold-out cardboard easel backing (fully intact and stands up perfectly), and holds the rare "Printed in Germany" hallmark. Inscribed lightly in pencil on the back ("To Harriett From Naomi"). Carrington Co. Fold-Out Girl & Kitten (c. 1940s): Features a drop-down greeting panel that opens up to reveal a cute tabby cat and the punchline message. Features the red Carrington Co. Chicago logo on the back. Signed in vintage pencil ("To Sis from Luther and Emily J."). "Spark Here" Park Bench Girl (c. 1940s): Features a clever 1940s slang theme. Unused and unmarked back! Boy Scrubbing Floor Card (c. 1940s): Stamped "Made in U.S.A." on the front. Inscribed in vintage pencil on the back ("To Eugene Heis from Carolyn Devore"). Condition Notes: All four cards are in Very Good vintage condition considering their age of 80+ years. The lithograph colors remain incredibly bright, sharp, and vivid. All moving parts, rivets, and paper folds function smoothly as intended. The German stand-up card has a light surface-level diagonal crease across the bottom-left corner grass area (does not impact structural integrity). Minor, typical age-related edge wear and light surface smudging on the blank backs as shown in photos. No modern ink, no tape repairs, and no major water stains.
